Third Experiment

For this experiment we calculated the maximum weight that can be applied on the webs before their deformation.

With this graph, we can note that the second shape is very easily deformable. Only five grammes are needed. For the first pattern it varies, the eight attachment point is fragile (5g) on the other hand, twelve and sixteen attachment points are a little bit more sturdy (10g). Finally we have the third pattern that is the most resistant to this test. The weight needed to deform the different webs depending on the attachment points lies between ten and twenty.

Once again, the second pattern with eight attachment points is not a part of the experiment because it still does not have a center point.
